WFW guides NAI on M/v Aethalia sale

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised NAI Int Malta Ltd. (“NAI”) on the bareboat charterparty and subsequent sale of the M/v Aethalia to TSL Panama SA, a company owned by Peru’s Transgas Shipping Lines SAC (“Transgas Shipping”). The M/v Aethalia, a motor tanker built at Soli Deniz Cilik Ltd. shipyard in Istanbul in 2008, is currently registered with the Malta Ships Registry. Its sale and charter align with both NAI and Transgas Shipping’s strategic goals, enhancing their market position and operational efficiency. Specialising in shipping products NAI is a Maltese subsidiary of the Navigazione Montanari group, specialising in effects NAI is a Maltese subsidiary of Italy’s Navigazione Montanari group, specialising in shipping products for the oil and petrochemical sectors.  Transgas Shipping is one of the two sister companies of TRANSGAS, an international shipping company specialising in the transport of liquefied gas, oil and chemical products. WFW advises Euromont on tankers sale to Japan

Watson Farley & Williams ('WFW') advised Euromont Shipping Company S.p.A. ('Euromont'), as seller, and Navigazione Montanari S.p.A. ('Navigazione Montanari'), as bareboat charterer, on the sale and leaseback of oil chemical tankers - 'Valleblu' and 'Valturchese' to two Japanese leasing companies. The Valleblu, originally under the International Ship Registry held with the Port Authority of Trieste, is currently registered by new owner - Kimura Shoji/Kt Neo Marine under the Panama Ship Registry. The Valturchese, originally under the Malta Ship Registry, is currently registered by new owner - Iyo Nassen/Orange Iyo under the Panama Ship Registry. Shipping products for the oil sectors Navigazione Montanari registered both vessels with the Italian Bareboat Registry held by the Port Authority of Trieste. Founded in 1889 and headquartered in Fano, Italy, Navigazione Montanari specialises in shipping products for the oil and petrochemical sectors. The WFW Maritime Italy team that advised Euromont and Navigazione Montanari on the drafting and negotiation of all documentation was led by Partner Furio Samela, assisted by Associate Sergio Napolitano. WFW advises on Navigazione Montanari's tanker deal

Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) advised Navigazione Montanari S.p.A. (Navigazione Montanari) on acquiring the chemical product tanker, Astella, renamed Valderice. WFW also acted for Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. (Intesa Sanpaolo) as a lender on loan, backed by Italy’s ECA SACE's Garanzia Futuro, granted to Navigazione Montanari to recapitalise the funds used for the purchase partially. Valderice The Valderice, built in South Korea in 2011 at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd., is currently registered in the International Ship Register of the Trieste Maritime Department.
