Cummins Inc., a global pioneer in power technology has announced that it will be presenting a range of engines at EUROPORT 2025.
On display at Stand 1305, Cummins will be showcasing engines for Seagoing and Inland Waterways (IWW) applications, including the X15 Stage V, the B4.5 Genset Stage V and the QSK38 Stage V. Cummins will also be holding a presentation update on its GSK38 Stage V engine on-stand on 4th November at 3pm.
The X15 Stage V combines engine reliability with modern aftertreatment systems, achieving ratings of 373 - 447 kW (500 - 600 hp). This engine was developed in-house for key European Inland Waterways applications including bow thrusters and main propulsion.
Four-cylinder diesel engine
Also on stand will be the B4.5 Genset Stage V, a 4.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine used in generator sets and various non-road applications.
With an output of 76 - 112 kW (102 to 150 bhp), and a peak torque of 780 Nm (575 lb-ft), EGR free architecture and a compact Single Module aftertreatment system, the engine highlights efficiency and complies with strict European non-road emissions standards.
The QSK38 Stage V for inland waterways, with a power output of up to 1044 kW (1,400 hp), will also be showcased on-stand in a small 3D print, is certified to emissions standards on European waterways, using a Modular Common Rail (MCR) fuel system for improved performance, reduced emissions and low-end torque.
QSK60 engine
In addition, a model of the widely recognised QSK60 engine, will be on-stand. The engine is designed to withstand challenging marine conditions, with output ratings of 1491-2013 kW (3000 hp).
These applications showcases Cummins’ commitment to reducing emissions and improving performance on waterways around Europe. Exhibit-goers will be able to see this first-hand through the products on-stand.
Andreas Neid, Channel Sales Manager at Cummins said: “Our display at EUROPORT provides a great opportunity to actively show our continuing investment in the present and future of marine engine segments. The wide range of applications on-stand will give people the opportunity to engage directly with the engines, spokespeople, and dealers.”
