Event Overview:

World LNG production is set to expand by 40% to almost 670 million tonnes per annum by 2028 – the largest increase in capacity in the product’s history. The LNG carrier fleet is following suit, with on-order and existing vessels now topping the 1,000 mark and outstripping the number of VLCCs. As the world decarbonises, where does LNG sit in the energy mix this decade and look further ahead into the mid- and longer-term.
