Event Overview:
Maritime Week Africa 2026
Maritime Week Africa (MWAF), the longest-running and most popular bunkering event in Africa, will return to Cape Town in January 2026, building on its unrivalled reputation for bringing all parts of the industry together for top-level information exchange and direct access to the most influential players in the African maritime sector.
In 2026, MWAF will build on these discussions, focusing again on the environmental and geopolitical issues raised in Mauritius while re-examining the factors that continue to hold South Africa back. With important contributions expected from South Africa’s Department of Transport, Transnet National Ports Authority, SAMSA, and the South African Revenue Service (SARS), along with key stakeholders from the supply chain, the conference will provide a platform to explore viable, long-term solutions for the region’s bunkering future.
In addition to the flagship conference, Maritime Week Africa 2026 will include:
- A specialist training course
- Two networking lunches
- Two evening receptions
- And a relaxing waterborne tour of Cape Town Harbour
