Features of the Dynamic UKC System
The Dynamic UKC System (DUKC®) offers advanced capabilities for maritime navigation and port management. It determines the maximum safe sailing draft for vessels by analysing dynamic under keel clearance (UKC) requirements and calculates the safest transit times based on these criteria.
Additionally, it enhances port efficiency by increasing cargo volumes and determines the necessary depth at each channel location to facilitate safe navigation. The system also evaluates the required under keel clearance for specific transits according to prevailing environmental conditions.
