Arkas & Sealand Europe & Med restart the seasonal reefer service (REX)

Arkas and its VSA partner “Sealand Europe & Med – A Maersk Company” are restarting the seasonal Russia Express Service, REX by the week 44th from Mersin. Joint reefer service This new joint reefer service addresses customers who are mainly shipping perishable cargo and want to leverage the reliable and fast transport service by sea. With a lead time of 4 days port-to-port from Mersin to Novorossiysk, REX connects Turkish perishable products with the Russian market on weekly basis. The weekly rotation will be: Mersin – Novorossiysk – Mersin Service will be started with the departure of EMMA A from Mersin on November, 2nd 2019. The two carriers’ VSA will be maintained with Arkas Line operating 1 out of 2 vessels with an average 600 plug capacity. Cosco Line will participate under a slot agreement on this service.

Wan Hai Lines announces plans to launch new China to Cambodia/Thailand (CT5) Service

Wan Hai Lines Ltd. is pleased to announce its plan to expand its existing service network between China to Southeast Asia, by launching a new weekly service from Central China to Cambodia & Thailand, on 1st December 2020. China to Cambodia/Thailand (CT5) Service The China to Cambodia/Thailand Service, named CT5 will be operated with 3 vessels, with an intake of 1,200 TEU. Wan Hai Lines will deploy 1 vessel, while its partners - Yang Ming Lines and Sealand Maersk Asia will operate the two vessels each. CT5 maiden voyage will commence from Ningbo port on 1st December, 2020. The service rotation shall cover Ningbo – Shanghai –Sihanoukville –Bangkok – Laem Chabang – Qinzhou – Ningbo.
