On 8th March 2024, Admiral Marine celebrated International Women's Day across its branches with a special focus on honouring the wives, mothers, daughters, and sisters of our seafarers.

The event aimed to recognise the invaluable contributions of these women who are an integral part of the Admiral Marine family.

International Women's Day

At the Chennai office, the celebrations kicked off with short talks by our staff, followed by a lively round of Antakshari. Ms. Phreda Rani (wife of Fitter Marimuthu Gangesan who has been sailing with us for more than five years) and Akshaya (daughter of 2nd engineer Dharanitharan) showcased their musical talents, adding a vibrant touch to the festivities.

Each family shared heartfelt stories about their loved ones working away from home and the challenges of managing their families while their husbands and brothers worked at sea.

Mumbai and Kochi celebrations
