FESCO Transportation Group (FESCO) has transported the first refrigerated container connected to the system for controlling the temperature of perishable goods on the route from Moscow - Vladivostok.

Electronic navigation seal

The test shipment of the container was organized in collaboration with the Center for the Development of Digital Platforms LLC (CRCP, cargo sealing operator) and Softtelematika LLC (part of National Telematic Systems) supervised by the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) within the action plan for implementation of the system for transporting and handling perishable goods approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The container was equipped with an electronic navigation seal with a temperature-sensitive element for temperature control. The electronic navigation seal allowed the sealing operator to track the temperature of the cargo along the entire route and send the information in real-time mode to the information system of Rosselkhoznadzor – AIS ‘Mercury’.
