MPC Container Ships ASA (the ‘Company’), is pleased to announce the appointment of Moritz Fuhrmann as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), commencing December 1, 2022.

Mr. Fuhrmann will succeed the current Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Benjamin Pfeifer, who has resigned his position to pursue new opportunities.

Moritz Fuhrmann brings to MPC Container Ships ASA - a strong background in finance and shipping. He will join from London-based Hayfin Capital Management LLP, where he has served as Principal in the maritime team.

Prior to that role, Mr. Fuhrmann has worked for DVB Bank in Germany and the Netherlands, Credit Suisse in Germany and the USA (United States of America), as well as for a German ship broker.

Extensive industry experience

Moritz Fuhrmann is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance degree from Cass Business School in London, United Kingdom (UK).
