Ocean Wise are proud to announce a recent contract win with the Port of Tyne, in the United Kingdom (UK), to provide an environmental monitoring solution to support operational decision making across the Port of Tyne’s jurisdiction.

New monitoring equipment

The project involves installation of new monitoring equipment, as well as integration with a suit of existing sensors, in order to deliver ongoing, accurate and reliable, real-time tide and weather data.

Port-Log

Ocean Wise will be supporting their operations by installing the environmental monitoring platform - Port-Log, which is widely used by many ports and harbours across the UK and overseas.

The system will enable access to key real-time data and customised alerts for port operators and pilots, ensuring they are kept abreast of the dynamic tide and environmental conditions in the port.
