Product description
Introducing Regal® SGT 22, a premium turbine oil specifically formulated for modified aviation gas turbines used in stationary industrial power generation and marine services. Crafted from synthetic polyol ester base fluids, this advanced lubricant is designed to deliver superior high-temperature system protection and exceptional oxidation resistance.
Key Features
- Long Service Life: The exceptional stability of the synthetic ester base fluid, coupled with a specialised additive system, ensures resistance to breakdown even under extreme temperature and load conditions.
- All-Temperature Performance: With its excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics, Regal SGT 22 ensures fluidity at low temperatures and robust lubrication under high-temperature conditions.
- Minimal Maintenance and Downtime: The oil's minimal coking tendency helps reduce deposit formation, thus ensuring smoother operation and reduced wear on bearings and critical components.
Ideal Use Cases
Regal SGT 22 is expertly recommended for aero derivative gas turbines in challenging environments such as industrial power generation, gas transmission, and marine propulsion. It conforms to U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-23699G, Class STD, and is approved for various high-performance turbines, including General Electric LM series and multiple Siemens (Rolls Royce) models.
Compatibility
This turbine oil is compatible with other MIL-PRF-23699G approved lubricants, various metals, paints, coatings, and elastomers like Viton, Teflon, and fluorosilicone. However, it is not suitable for applications requiring MIL-PRF-23699F standards or usage in aircraft service.
