SITC International and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding held a ceremony for the naming and delivery of the new ship - ‘SITC Singapore’.

Mr. Xue Mingyuan, Executive Director of SITC International, President of SITC Shipping Group, Mr. Xiao Senyuan, Vice President of SITC Shipping Group, Mr. Ren Letian, Chairman of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, Mr. Wan Jian, President of Jiangsu Maritime Vocational and Technical College, Ritong International Logistics East Asia Mr. Xing Fangliang, the head of the International Logistics Department, and Mr. Xiang Datian, the regional director of the Hong Kong Shipping Registry of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Shanghai, attended the ceremony.

Epidemic prevention and control

At the ceremony, President Xue Mingyuan of SITC and Chairman Ren Letian of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding both stated that under the background of normalisation of epidemic prevention and control, the two sides will promote each other and develop together, and have always maintained a close and good cooperative relationship.

Mr. Xing Fangliang named the new ship, and Ms. Sun Hongxia, the godmother of the new ship, cut the cables and threw champagne for the new ship, wishing the new ship a smooth delivery and a safe return. After the naming and delivery ceremony, the vessel will soon join SITC's fleet to provide better service to SITC customers.
